Simplest way to bypass Windows 11 needing internet and Microsoft account to set up new computer with a local account.
You shouldn't be forced to use a vendor's 'extra' services. That's monopolistic behavior, but it's not surprising here in North America.
I wonder if it's the same in Europe, as they have much stricter laws regarding this.
Here's another way. Windows 11 forces you to be connected to internet and need a Microsoft account to set up and use your computer. Then go through Microsoft each time you want to use your computer. In other words your computer is not really yours.
Sadly I was forced to do that, because I need a internet connection, to get the network's programming...
@wefr You disconnect to go through the bypass and then after you get back on. I think you can now still set up again and bypass this with a local account.
