Tuesday night during another Wisconsin winter storm the tallest structure in America feel to the ground. The skyline here looks pretty bare without it. You can find a video and more about it here. http://www.wqow.com/Global/story.asp?S=14308227 That’s my fellow electronics nerd friend Carl who they interviewed. There has been a great outreach with the local ABC channel giving up on of it’s digital channels to allow NBC back on the airwaves. They are now broadcasting 18.3 in Eau Claire WI and 50.1 in Lacrosse WI

Very interesting video, I was
Very interesting video, I was surprised to hear that it was taller then the Empire State building. Any idea on how many towers are still in use today pushing 50 years old?
Old bridges have been in the news for the last several years, due to several collapses – they’ve just become to old to support themselves, I guess this may come to be the same case with old towers.
As conveyed in the video, this tower was a rather stark landmark, it’s a bit sad, but a good thing no one was hurt.
