I posted in the past that I was forced to 'upgrade' my Internet service to fiber, and was put behind Carrier Grade Nat (CGNAT) as opposed to just NAT. NAT assigns your public IP address to your router, allowing you to port forward and accept incoming connections. In so doing, you can host your own web server, streaming server, and in my case, SDR server.
There are various software solutions that I investigated to allow incoming connections, but they all require some cash outlay, and most are pretty complicated to set up.
I happen to use a VPN, and it turns out there's a simple solution utilizing it. The VPN provider, for a very small fee, can assign to you a static IP, and allow you to port forward (using their VPN app) with that IP. I will be playing around with it for the next few days, and it may bring the Artisan Radio stream and SDR back online.
Time will tell.
