So I was just replacing my sign with another on the mail box just down the street when a woman walking a dog came up to me and said "are you the one with the station" and I said yes. She said I have been listening for some time since I saw the sign and glad you switched to AM as I could hardly get it before. I asked where are you located and she pointed "just over there" "I get it perfect now". "Gets drowned out a bit at night sometimes but still hear it." "My husband listens too." "We like the old radio shows." I said I really didn't think anyone ever looks at these signs, happy listening! If you have any reception problems let me know. She asked the normal question...."how far do you go?" and I said up to about a km(.6 mile) circle around here with a car but half a km in the good reception range but less at night. She said "we go in the car to the store at the plaza and listen to you there and back" Then she asked, "why does the AM work better than FM?" I said because FM doesn't allow very much power. "Stay where you are" she said.
So, another known listener. Makes the hobby more satisfying when you do it for yourself but get other listeners as a side effect.

Everyone looks at such signs, garage sale, lost dog, babysitter/house cleaner, free couch, bike for sale, localized AM station, tune in... Yeah.. they see them, to gain local listeners, signs are imperative!
