Based on a glance at his feedbacks, he sold a lot of brand new assorted audio/electronic/parts, but it appears he quit doing that some time ago, this year the only item he has listed was this unopened SStran Kit. There's a couple noteworthy things about this particular listing. I didn't even realize it had been on eBay until after the fact, but it sold outright for $399. It was only a few weeks ago so fortunately its original listing is still viewable otherwise I never would have seen what I'm about to show you.
Not that it's anything.. like a big deal or whatever, it's just that it's kind of unique and interesting is all. Ok, a couple interesting things; it's extremely rare (if ever) to see an unopened SStran Tran Kit come up for sale and this listing provides about a dozen pictures of everything, every little package of parts that were included, so it's kind of a visual documentation of the bygone kit rarely seen. And what kind of tops it off was the seller description tells a little story of how it is this unopened SStran Kit ended up on eBay. So now I'm kind of archiving it all here, cause I think it worth archiving cause it's just... cool!

SSTRAN AMT3000 AM Broadcast Band Transmitter Kit
This Buy It Now auction is for a brand new unbuilt AMT3000 AM broadcast band transmitter kit. I bought this as a spare to my first SSTRAN AMT3000 transmitter but never needed to use it as my original has been working fine for many years. If you're an antique radio collector like me, you know that it's pretty hard to find something to listen to on the AM band anymore. I download music off the web and load it into an old cell phone and set it up to continuously play the music to the input of the transmitter. Now whenever I turn on one of my radios, I get the music that I like listening too. You can feed the transmitter from MP3 players or any other source that has an output jack. I have a friend that feeds an FM tuner that's tuned to his favorite FM station and now he can listen to his favorite FM station on his antique AM radios.
I have the transmitter kit's condition listed as "Parts or Not Working" because right now that's just what it is until you assemble it. The assembly is pretty straight forward but does require soldering skills. The kit has one surface mounted integrated circuit that was pre-installed by the manufacturer. The rest of the components are the traditional thru-hole type. The included instruction manual is very good with step by step instructions on the assembly and set-up. Since I have no knowledge of your assembly skills, This item is sold as is with no warranty and no returns. The transmitter kit uses standard parts that are available thru electronics distributors such as Mouser Electronics, Digikey, and many more.
