These are the kinds of grassroots ideas we need to start a radio revolution. And I don't mean the Channel X slogan either. I mean a radio revolution that will change the landscape of the radio dial forever. I can picture our group marching on Capitol Hill and fighting for that 10 watts we would love to have. I also picture a portion of the dial that is restricted specifically for low power use. If there were only low power stations on one part of the dial, there would be less interference to and from licensed stations. I think it would be amazing!
As for a part 15 network, I'd love to add the Cruise and 450 show to the lineup. But that will be once I get Channel X on air and am doing daily shows.
I plan for the Cruise and 450 show to be a micropowered version of the Bob and Tom show. My buddy Jeremy and I plan on cracking jokes, telling weird news stories, writing songs, doing voice impersonations, and much, much more. Every show will be cleaned up (censored) before going on the air. My buddy Jeremy has a horrible tendency of saying a certain F word that could cause some epic trouble with the FCC. So, the show will have to be censored.
Channel x1610 is correct when he suggests a patch of AM radio space especially for low power stations, and this would be of benefit to communities everywhere.
Because it makes good sense and is obviously reasonable, it may never happen.

But we need to be G Rated due to the fact we are playing to the public and Kids will be able to tune in.

I'm anxious to see how it's going. Got the pictures you emailed and I think your original idea of mounting to the vent pipe should be OK if there's enough pipe there to attach too.

It might be a good idea to first coordinate the time/day here prior to making the call for a meeting, perhaps a few days in advance or so. That way everyone who wishes to get involved can set aside the time to be available.
Also have to remember those pesky time zones. But I believe if the initial meeting to get this thing off the ground is arranged well ahead of time and those participating schedule that time to be there, things will indeed start to lift off.
