Hey, remember the rule: YOU MAY NOT CAUSE INTERFERENCE. YOU MUST ACCEPT INTERFERENCE.
Hold on. That means, someone is being allowed to cause interference. I mean, YOU MUST ACCEPT IT, so somebody gets to do it, just not you.
And if, and if a complainer accuses us of causing interference, why is it that they are NOT accepting interference the same way we have to?
Furthermore, and I am far from finished, there are those, even one or so on this board, who view ALL part 15 activity as interference. They tell us that the reason our signals must be kept weak and feeble is to avoid causing interference!
So I say, own it! Make it a format. "This is interence station KDX"; "This interference is being brought to you by SSTran.com"; "Coherent interference from KDX"; "Hello, this is Carl Blare, interferring until 6 o'clock!"
I have a radio that says "complies with FCC rules.....must not cause interference and must ACCEPT interference as per part 15 rules! Certified transmitters say the same thing. Maybe the part about accepting interference is so someone CAN complain about someone causing it. But if interference was allowed to be blocked then there would be no interference problem!
