but for now, if I just cut try and make a radial with the #8 wire I currently have and tie all the end of the wires together where the vertical ground meets the earth(and then goes horizontal a few inches under the ground) that might get me some improved coverage?

No need to use #8. Smaller is OK
I already bought additional #8 wire, which the Rangemaster website recommends. #8 will be sufficient, correct?

Second time I've seen that. I dunno what's wrong yet. Try:

I just emailed myself and it worked fine. Also, my sister emailed me twice at that address yesterday ... also worked fine. I'm wondering if something on this site used with certain browsers is causing it. What browser and emailer are you using?
