There's no doubt that the nice picture
of the young lady in front of the mike
looks good. It's very pleasant to see
when you first come on the site. But,in
my mind, I don't think it's a Part 15
station. Although - I could be completely
wrong.
If I'm wrong - this post is moot. But
if I'm correct - well -
I was wondering if somewhere down the
road - someday - there might be a picture
put there of somebody's actual Part 15 station.
Such as, somebody who is on this site.
That's all I'm going to say because this is not
my site and you guys very very much deserve to
do what you want. The amount of satisfaction
and real joy I have gotten here says it all.
So that's my idea. And that's it.
If nobody responds at all, I will not be offended
in the least. I like this place too much for that.

The person in the picture could also be
a good friend of somebody who runs the site.
Or, the picture could have some special significance.
In that case my idea is moot, too.

That's a great idea! But I think to be fair, the picture should change randomly of various studios and operators/owners of members of the Part 15.us community.
That would let everyone and their stations get a chance to be seen by all.
But I also think that the current image of the pretty gal behind the mic should be included in the rotating studio pictures!

I agree. Hold off a bit with the pics till we figure out how to do this.

Maybe limit each station's image submissions to 2 or 3 to help keep clutter down, and perhaps might be easier to implement.
Maybe with flash or script might be a way to do it.

The friendly picture of the smiling woman was added to this website right at the time I posted a note titled "Part 15 and Gender"

I was wondering why all the part 15ers were guys and why there were no women, but a member named Miss Judy made one posting in response to my message, but it is the only posting she ever made.
But right at that time the Smiling Face appeared on the front cover of the site, and I imagined that the site owners were responding to my idea of making the site female friendly.
Other than that I am ready for any decisions the site owners make to re-arrange the furniture.
Well Radio Brandy certainly has enough evidence to prove that Part 15 radio is gender friendly. Just about every picture they have on their site is of a female.
I've seen the female gender run circles around the male gender in many technical fields and not just radio. Their valuable contribution is just as good if not better as the male counterpart.
There has been enough division in society and radio or anything else really should be excluded in that nonsense.
