Well, here we are again. The next regular ALPB TeamSpeak meeting will be Saturday, August 15th at 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
There have been some inquiries about joining The ALPB but unfortunately no follow-up by the individuals. I certainly hope they decide to join us. Each new voice brings new ideas and support which help our organization to thrive.
Plenty of discussion regarding the FM FI tests. Thanks to Tim in Bovey for taking the lead and investing his time and money to gather data about some of the popular FM transmitters.
I'm certain there will be plenty to talk about.

True enough, FM Part 15.239 has come to the forefront since TheLegacy and I think MrBruce started making noise about getting better range, which got me to pull my FM micro transmitters out of storage and back on the air.
At first the other website went on the negative by talking down to us with reasons why we'd never get anywhere trying to get a boost for Part 15 FM in the U.S. (properly, The Homeland).
There was one guy that posted over there about our "magical thinking" and "living in a fantasy land", and he'd come here and give bits of advice. Love the double dealing.
Tim of Bovey to the rescue! Ever since Tim announced that he'd have fun collecting and testing Part 15 certified transmitters the other site has shut up and we now have stature and standing in the Part 15 community!

Very good narrative Carl. Seriously I've almost forgot every detail of the events I started. Well it wasn't just me, but I think I had a great deal to do with it. But really I can't do it alone and Thanks to Tim we don't look like a bunch of fools trying to jump off the hill thinking the sun is one giant fruit. Instead of pulling the foo. Card I'd like us to pull the Shiva card. Shiva was the God of death and rebirth. We put a death to all the drama and miss information about part 15 FM and a birth of a new idea of getting part 15 FM off to a better start. When I talked to Brian of Whole House FM Transmitter I also helped to spread the word and give them some ideas. They would rather a separate category of extended part 15 transmitters and not punish the manufacturers of the current part 15 FM transmitters. Plus as mentioned not every person wants to go a mile or ¼ mile so there should be a different set of rules for the higher powered transmitters leaving existing ones to stay as they are. Now we need to clear our names as part 15 FM stations as useful and not a menace to the spectrum. How we carve that notion is going to require everyone's caution of how we make an image of ourselves. More to come that is for sure.

Sorry I didnt make it guys, Was having fun with my pc after doing a windows 10 upgrade on it. It didnt go so well so this pc is going no higher than windows 7. I will give a full update at the next meeting.
