Been posting here for 8 years. Been posting the weekly Oompah Hour updates weekly for nearly that long. Now my weekly Oompah Hour updates are not posting right away and getting tagged with "Waiting for moderation". There's no swearing, politics, or anything out of the ordinary in these updates. Am I being blackballed for some weird reason? Will *this* post be moderated? I there a Coalition Against Polka Music?

I was surprised to see this when I saw it was you. I think this happened before also if I am not mistaken. Maybe a glitch in the system? My apologies on behalf of Part 15.org.
But I wasn't even up yet in the morning when you posted so that's why the little delay approving. I am not on here all the time but check my email several times a day. I check in here once or twice a day.

I just posted the same thread 2 times first one was 24hrs ago and it has not even been posted yet?? The last post I made was 5 weeks ago it posted instantly after I posted it not this time lame. Look a setting got changed in the admin control panel where a Admin has to approve all post now. I bet there are anywhere between 5 and 15 post that need to have the Admin approve them that is why the forum looks more dead than it should be.
I, as moderator, as I commented on Tim's concerns, have nothing to do with why a post is waiting for moderation. You have to ask admin. about it. The only reason a post is supposed to wait for moderation is if it's a new member and a first post. This has to be a glitch somewhere.
As for your recent post that said waiting for moderation, I didn't get the message at all which I usually do when a post is awaiting moderation. I don't know why. I can only apologize on behalf of part 15.org. Please try again.
To add, I usually get the message if a post needs moderation. You may be right that a setting at the admin's end got changed and some, not all, posts that shouldn't await moderation are getting that message.
Using Wordpress plugins like Discussion Board or BBPress for a forum is just a bad idea they do not have all the features that are need to run forum. The only Wordpress plugin I would recommend to run a forum is Asgaros Forum. I suggest migrating Wordpress to Mybb I have a run small Mybb forum for years now and I love it easy to use.

I can only approve posts I get for approval. I am sorry you are having this trouble. It is beyond my control.
Also just because forum members have visited here in the last hour, day, two days, etc., that doesn't mean they posted.
I think it's, as I said before something at admin's end. The forum was off for a couple of days a little while ago.
