I'm excited about this week's show (Tuesday 8PM Eastern, 5PM Pacific).  All the music we're going to be playing was created by teenagers.  Some artists you'll know, such as Bobby Vee, Lesley Gore, Bryan Hyland, and some you won't, such as Babette Bain, Gail Gibson and Shirley Capri.  We also have some interesting rarities, such as jazz great George Benson when he was 9 years old and a young Wayne Newton with his brother, credited as Wayne & the Newtones.

I'm looking forward to listening, and I made the show!

I hope I have this one. One of the 3 you just gave me?
The whole rock and roll/do wop era was created by a young baby boom generation. Most of the singers and bands were teenagers some even pre-teens having their hits. Your shows highlight this in most of the music you feature, besides the endless songs out there by unknowns and artists that had hits but also recorded many other songs that know one would know except for a niche audience. I can't think of a better show for an oldies station to run then Artisan's Teenage Dreams. Buddy Holly(an example) was already in his early 20s when he started having his hits(and wrote his own stuff) and he was old already in the scheme of things.

Nope.  It's a new one that I will be giving you shortly.  I'll let you know when it's up on the FTP site (I'm giving it a final listen tonight).

I've got some great Teenage Dreams shows coming up as well.  Themes such as cars (which also includes the inevitable drag racing), going to the movies, and lots more.

Another show that we carry that may be of interest is 101 Below (Thursdays at 5PM Pacific, 8PM Eastern).  It's hosted by John Francis, and features music from the 1960s that just bubbled under the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #101 or below (hence the name).  These songs did get some airplay, may have been regional hits, but didn't get enough sales nationally in the U.S. to make the Hot 100.

You should try it out.

@artisan-radio. I checked out your website ....  I agree with you opinion of Donald Dump .  I also read the Canadian low power radio regulations that's on your site , radio announcer.   It seems Canadian regulations are also very vague,  much like US . I didn't see anything in your country's regulations above part 15 shortwave or one watt long wave .   It the future I plan on using my very low power transmitter on 13560 mhz .  Down around 6700 is another slice of the band where  very low power SW can be used in the US.
