Sad that this is what it has become.
Even the Rolling Stones, the most iconic band ever second to the Beatles do a new album of original songs in 2023 but radio won't touch it...why...because it is not synthesized pop. What you hear on radio is made up of someone working a machine and singers that are not musicians, and don't know a G chord from an E chord, and need auto tune because they are tone deaf. When is the last time you heard a real drum kit or other instrument in a pop record in the last 25 years. Without mentioning names show me a well known pop singer in 2023 that has ever had a hit that had real musicians on the recording? Or is a musician themselves?
And live concerts are just a publicity stunt. Live concerts are just fake to backing tracks.
And the audience for this doesn't know better or care. This is sad.
On my station only real live musicians playing real instruments on the recording will be heard. What ever happened to pop music made by real bands? That's in the past I guess and that's where I will stay. And where my station will stay.
Not only that but it's overprocessed and compressed to brickwalling on the radio.
