Famous examples are the magnet in a loudspeaker, the magnets in the thing on the neck of a TV picture tube, magnetic switches, generator magnets…
But what about antennas. Sure we hear about the electroMAGNETIC spectrum, but have magnets ever been employed in an antenna design?

Yes, they are used to hold portable mobile antennas to the roof of a vehicle:)
But this is probably not what you mean. I know of no uses of them for low frequencies but there are magnetic devices which are used in microwave work above 1 GHz such as in circulators and other exotic waveguide components.
