I’m getting an animated advertisement on my left screen for “Singles in My City.” That seems fine, except that I’m seeing a scrolling list of male faces. Even though I’m not shopping for any singles, it wouldn’t include men. It worries me, even though it doesn’t matter.
And if, now I’m imagining that this message will actually reach the scrolling list, you roll women’s faces, please make them mature. Cut it out with the “just 18” look. In my view that equates with “still empty headed”.

I don’t see what you describe but I have JavaScript and pop-ups turned off. I wonder what I am missing.

Tailored Advertising
The advertising robot that tried to sell me on “singles in your area” must have been following this thread, because now it’s changed over to something that looks like a 3-meter tower of jewelry.

Banner Ads
I never let any of those on any site I visit display on my browser for the simple fact that hackers use those as ways to park junk on your system. And the banner ad source would have no idea about it either, nor would the hosting site with the banner on it’s page.
When the ad agencies hosting those banner ad’s start policing their feeds, then I will unlock the no-script and ad-blocker.
