Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I wanted to put myself out there as doing voice over work.

Excellent Work
The legal IDs especially appealed to me, since you picked top stations and I hope you are submitting these, because stations do often have production voices for breaks and spots.
The legal IDs showed a force delivery, whereas the Saturn spot showed a more laid back style.

Thanks for feedback
Carl,
Thanks for listening and for the valuable feedback. I really appreciate it.
I need as much as possible.
I received a new microphone as a X-mas present this year from the wife, and even she has been critiquing me.
She said as you said I sounded to forced in the LEGAL ID’s, and I have been reworking these and will upload new versions, but as they stand, I thought that was kinda what they should sound like.
I was basically trying to emulate the people on the air.
I really enjoy doing mockup LEGAL ID’s for big stations.
I get a kick out of it.
Thanks,
Geoff

When I Say Forced
When I used the word “forced” about the IDs I was not making a negative criticism, but just a description of the style used compared to the car commercial. I think the “force” was fitting for the type image many of the radio stations have, where they want to sound authoritative.
Do the stations sometimes go overboard a little bit? Maybe. But as long as that’s what they want, you have shown you can deliver.

Constructive-NOT
I receive some critiquing from my wife also. Enough said…

No It’s Not
MRAM, to begin, what does your wife have against your announcing style?
thevalley1700am says
I think the over forced sound
I think the over forced sound that we hear is also called “puking” in the business where it sounds like the announcer might lose his lunch doing a legal id

Not my announcing, just me.

Settlement
We should settle this. Put your wife on here and have her answer this:
What’s the deal with MRAM?
