Part 15 Growth
Appreciate Station8 posting info about TS-100, yet another Part 15 AM transmitter.
Some have expressed fear that Part 15 AM was a fading antique, but it looks by the wealth of available products that it’s actually growing!
Thanks to the good work of the ALPB!

Information
Hi The TS-100 was discontinued by chez radio procaster but the 3rd party buyer brought it back to life.
I also got a hold of chris cuff and ordered his am stereo cquam am transmitter kit on 11-1-2013.

Sorting it all out
The USI “TRANS-AM model TA100” is the same as the LPB “AM-2000”.
Ultra Sensors Inc introduced the TRANS-AM TA100 transmitter in 1996 (FCC ID DPD624TA100) and sold it under their name from 1996 to 2000, after which, LPB began selling the same transmitter as the LPB AM-2000. LPB is now also out of business so both incarnations of this transmitter are no longer available.
The “TransAM-100” is the Rangemaster AM1000. The vendor, Automated Advertising Inc., is a distributor for the Rangemaster. Apparently, they have chosen to give it their own unique identifier. It has no connection to the USI “TRANS-AM model TA100”.
Automated Advertising Inc. also is apparently selling the Talking Sign TS100, which is no longer offered by chezradio.com. The TS100 has no connection to the USI, LPB or Rangemaster transmitters.
It’s not hard if you look at the model identifications. Just like any commercial product, model numbers may be similar, but not the same.

Hi phil I thought just put information in for people to see and thanks for the information.
Phil on your second paragraph it should say Trans Am-100 & Rangemaster am 1000 the vendor shows Drive Thruradio / Talking-billboards
Not Automated Advertising,Inc.
Since you say the Trans-am is the same as the LPB 2000 and i been also looking for that unit the LPB 2000 for awhile i’ll try to get a hold of them.
