It might be the tallest “broadcast” tower, but certainly not the tallest communications tower ever to exist.
I recall a tower so tall it was erected on an island and surrounding islands were used for the guy anchor points.
I cant remember that towers exact height, but it was well beyond the one linked. HERE are some towers exceeding that one in Japan.
