Has anybody tried Stitcher? I just did a quick study about what Stitcher provides to the broadcaster, and I noticed two things in particular that Stitcher provides.

It puts radio programming onto Apps, and there is work underway to get internet radio into automobiles. By Apps of course we mean cell phones and the like.
Stitcher, as I understood their description, programs from RSS feeds, which means that programs or podcasts must be pre-recorded and posted.
It does not appear that Stitcher can present a streaming radio station, but if you have other information please share your knowledge.
Still, the idea of getting a part 15 radio station to the Apps, which are part 15 devices, is appealing. So Stitcher might be worth knowing about.

Location
A good question within the FAQ’s….
“Why does Stitcher want to know my location?”
Instead of this thing needing to know where you are at all the time, it could simply provide a listing of local area programs and stations. There is NO need to tie a leash onto everyone and know their precise location just to provide radio programing.
A start up company…ya funded by who…CIA, DHS perhaps?
NO thanks.
Besides..if your station is listed on iTunes now, you don’t need to fiddle with this tracking device. Don’t be fooled by the ohh ahh…this thing is not what it appears to be.

Kin To
It’s kin to the “cloud”. Putting everyone’s eggs into one basket makes it easier for them to indulge their fantasies upon the unsuspecting populace.
Naturally when you present the deception in an all is well no worries fashion…why bother questioning! Just go along to get along is the motto of the new century.
I plan to retain my free will to choose and decide things for myself and my family. Government cant even run a cash for clunkers program much less help you or I out with any of our daily problems.

Head in the Clouds
I’m glad you mentioned “The Cloud.” When I first heard about that idea I thought maybe I was too dumb to get it, but my simple first impression turned out to be correct.
All “The Cloud” is is someone else’s harddrive space located somewhere else, to supposedly “save your stuff” in case your computer gets washed out to sea.
But what if “The Cloud” evaporates? Clouds tend to do that.
All right. Here at part15.us we get the best advice.
Ask and you receive.
Thank you all.

Knowing Is Protecting
Shortly after the commercial ad’s were running for this cloud thing the alternative media began attacking it and exposing it for what it really is…and it’s not just a convenient location to off-store your stuff.
Like all promises given that are broken, the cloud is claimed to be “secure” and “private”. BS! Any database, no matter what it is for, there is always someone or someone’s with full administrative access to that data.
It also makes it even more possible for your data to be scrutinized and monitored..and yes even confiscated and used against you for whatever reason. It’s sort of like reserving your own jail cell and key in advance to save them trouble of having to collect evidence to use against you…and they decide if you are “suspicious” or not.
It’s a CIA data mining op just like facebook and other social networks. The advantage is to have as many leashes attached to your hip so they can pull on them from all directions so you are in effect surrounded by big brother making sure your safe from terrorists.
Just keep in mind….they can declare YOU as the terrorist..even though your photo pages and blogs are nothing more than recipes for delicious national security threat cupcakes. :/

Get Rich Scheme
Probably somebody got rich with the “Cloud” idea, so what we need if we want to be rich is to figure out the next big idea.
As you know, they store nuclear waste in a mountain somewhere, a hollow mountain like the ones used for model railroads.
Therefore, our new security storage idea is “Cliff Cave Storage” way down deep under a tall mountain. Your data will be sunk.
Or, or, or… store your important computer files inside the “Egyptian Pyramid” ….slogan: “As Safe As the King’s Tomb.”
