Temporary outage … I’ll be shutting down my station tonite @ 6:00pm PDT and remain off air until (hopefully) 9:30am Saturday October 1.
I’m having full knee replacement surgery tomorrow on the mainland (Island Hospital, Anacortes, WA), back on island to Life Care Convalescent Center for recovery and therapy for another 3 weeks or so. With a little help, I’ll hopefully be back on air on Saturday, operating remotely from Life Care.

The Knee Comes First
Ken, think of yourself as on vacation. Think of the surgery as a nap. You’ll wake up after the anesthesia wears off and be able to start day dreaming about the further adventures of your radio life.
When you return here, it will seem like the whole thing went by very quickly.

P.S. While talking to hospital staff, pitch the low power concept. You might recruit a new member.
