sorry i haven’t been on in a while good things and bad things happend, the bad things are i lost a family member and that same week our transmiter got killed by a proximity strike and our website got hacked and cut off from the internet i was not having a good week. the good news is that a few months back i started another part 15 station with my maintime job at my local school district its called B101 Radio. and thats is getting more recognition more than KDSX is and overshadows it sometimes. KDSX still has its stream going just go to www.myradiostream.com/kdsxradio to listen to the station until i can get the website back up and a new transmitter in. the new stations website is almost up so i will give yall a link to it when its up and running.

Heartfelt Words
Fellow Radio Guy ABMedia1, It’s very good to have you back posting, but I am most sorry to hear that a member of your family is gone. That is the single hardest part of life… losing the people near to us.
The lightning isn’t so bad. We know it will happen sometimes, and it’s part of the radio business.
Glad your new FM service has already met success.
That being hacked is a messy thing. I’d like to hear more details about what that was like, I mean, how do they wreck a radio stream from the outside?
I just installed a router for better insulation, and it has a report of all the IP addresses that try to attack all day long, and they never stop!
Somebody somewhere needs a better pastime. They need part 15 radio so they can stop being a web nuisance.

Hi Andrew!
I hope things improve for you. As you saw on my Facebook page, I lost a younger cousin to cancer in late March. Even when you know it’s coming doesn’t make it easier.
I’ve been working on my Part 15 some more as well. I would really be bored without it.
Alan

New Part 15 Slogan
Reading the above messages gave this idea for a new part 15 slogan:
PART 15 – THE LIFE OF RADIO
