Well here’s what I believe to be an interesting topic.
Sometimes one station just isn’t enough, at least that’s how it was with me.
In total I have 3 RF signals being spit out with Programming

In total I have 3 RF signals being spit out with Programming
1650 AM & 95.7 FM News/Talk / Hot Talk
99.9 FM Oldies
At one time 95.7 FM had a separate format as well
(Rock and then later Top 40, then simulcasting 1650, then simulcasting 99.9 and then back to 1650)
How many of us have the itch for more than one?
or is one enough of a hassle?

RE: MULTIPLE PART 15 STATIONS
Not yet, but I have several ideas:
1) Setting up one at the big resort on the other end of the island, same programming, picked off the internet with a Barix and WiFi connection by negotiation with the resort’s manager.
2) I drive a taxi part time; the company has three vehicles (it’s an island), but there is another company with 2 taxis and 3 more with one man operations. We need to have a gimmick that works. So … I’m thinking about putting putting FM transmitters in our taxis with a sign:
“If you are within 200 ft. from this vehicle TUNE 106.9 FM for Island Information and DIscounts”
3) FInding a way to rebroadcast Ferry Info. This is available on a 530 AM TIS at the mainland side ferry staging area, but not here.
I try to broadcast (live) ferry reports along with activities announcement and calendar info about 20 min. before arrivals, but sometimes I have to go drive a fare and can’t make it live. However I intend to take my netbook in the cab. At last that way, if I can get a 4G or 3G signal CLEAR signal, I can broadcast remotely.

Had Two
Several experiments have been considered for multi-casting.
Back when I had KDX first started as a stream on Shoutcast with AM 1680, a client wanted me to run a stream featuring her programming, so I started running two different streams from one computer, and had hers on AM 1640, and out at her house it was on 101.9 FM
Then I ran 2-streams of my own programming, but liked both of them so much I tried listening to both at the same time and my attention span went goofy.
In the future it would be interesting to load every open frequency with programming so that the odds of being selected by available listeners become almost unavoidable. Antenna, carrier current, leaky-cable, wi-fi, all at the same time.

I’ve though of this!
I’ve thought of this. But, heck –
I can’t even get one station up
and running!
