I’m Speechless… Shucks Carl, thanks…
Someday I’ll update the content. As it is, I’m just keeping it on to see how long it takes for the hackers to crash it.

Glad I don’t put my systems to such unnecessary risks like that just to see. Amazing its lasted this long without getting hit.
Congrats anyway.

I checked out Mrams webpage I checked out Mrams webpage and think it’s pretty neat.
Funny that only last night I was toying around with a very similar method at no-ip.com, and then I hear about Mrams home server while listening to the latest LPH.
Hackers can only do so much damage providing you have a backup, ans as long as there’s no security sensitive material on your computer. The way I see it, why would a hacker even want to bother with hacking something so basic?
It’s cool that having a home server like this enables ability to stream live without having to pay for a static ip or any other service. I can see how it could be useful to send live audio from the studio to remote transmitters – all at zero cost. But assume having multiple listeners at he same time wouldn’t fare so well.
In a related matter, I’ve had my website hosted free at 000webhost.com for about 6 months, I already had the domain name and just pointed it to their servers.
Doesn’t cost a dime. Upgrading to their paid service would provide more features, but so far it’s been fine for me as is.
Anyway, enjoyed the show with the “Dood”.. I was only half listening, as was occupied with other things while it played, but recall hearing some ghost stories or something! I intend to give it a more attentive second listen sometime in the next few days.
I never did catch just who the Dood is.

By the way the correct URL is:
http://mram.gotdns.com
Adding the WWW doesn’t work.
