The other night i posted that I was moving from 1610 Khz up to 1620 Khz

Wellll, here we go again but on the FM this time.
A friend of mine has built his LPFM and it is on 102.5 FM out of Viper ,Ky with under 100 watts of power at 16 miles away from my location. The reason i am moving the FM is obviously to avoid causing interference to his LPFM.
Even though his station will be 16 miles away on 102.5, i don’t really think my micro powered FM would cause problems for his listeners but to be a good radio neighbor and because I told him that I would move the FM, i am in fact moving Blue Bucket Radio to 89.7 Mhz which has open channels on both sides. 85.9 and 89.9 are both empty here and allows a buffer zone we look for to avoid causing interference to licensed stations and the listeners.
Aggravating as it might seem at first, it is necessary and I can be confident that my microscopic signal won’t be causing anyone grief, and changing frequencies on the Ramsey FM 25 B is simple.
I have attached a screenshot of Radio Locator Vacant Frequency search results for FM in my area.
I gotta go now, i have a website to edit now.
Carl, I guess you know what this means, you might need to edit the FM Dial chart to reflect the change. Blue Bucket Radio 89.7 FM Thanks.
Sorry, it’s late and I wrote the wrong frequency 89.7 FM is CORRECT. sheesh
