For the last couple years I’ve been using http://www.000webhost.com to host mine (and other websites), it cost nothing ($zero), no pop-ups, no ads, no annoyances at all. Never had a single problem with it at all, never noticed any down time…
I’ve been using it 2 years at no cost.
For my domain name registration I use http://www.1and1.com/domain for $10 a year and just park it at 000webhost.com described above.
So in other words my grand total cost for my domain and website has been costing me only $10 a year.
An .info domain would cost only 99 cents for the first year, and then 9.99 each year after that
