how should i start this blog, well the first time i learned about radio was when i was very little, and i learned about it from the pbs program for kids and i new right away it was something of my interest, and so i talked to 3 disc jockeys and told them my life story and being a kid who’s high funcitoning autistic, its troubling wheiter its autism or radio both, but i didnt think so with radio, so my mother had a day off from work,on that day (june 24, 2005) and that was the day set to visit the station, back then KLAK FM was AS 97.5 K-LAKE FM The Lake Station or 97.5 K-Lake The Lake Station, and the format was a mass appeal soft adult contemporary station targeting 18-54 Male And Female, it was pretty popular in texoma espically in grayson county. then eventually the day came, i got to tour around the officies and got to see the studios, and then tiffiany reyonalds (KMKT Now WBAP)and laura liles (KLAK/KDAF Now WBAP) both asked me if i wanted to go on the air and i said yes quicker than any other 10 year old would do so i went on the air and i went through it, i was unnerving about turned out great then after talking on klake with laura liles, i was sold on to radio! Forever! Hallajuah! every once in a while i would visit then on december 30, 2005, next media decided to a presentation to collin county, texas, (Mckinney-Allen-Frisco) to its brodcast area KLAKE Would Be No More since the new transmitter, when they did that pres. hebert wharton (i knew herbert but i not sure what his last name im pretty sure it was wharton) the afternoon jock left klake in an instant, john and leila didnt want to do that, so leila moved to kmad and then left radio (the rumor was she said something that she should have said over the air and got fired) im not sure according to what other people told me, but i cant confirm it. then after that laura left and i have no more good friends from K-LAKE and i have heard a word from them since (people in grayson county call it klake, people in collin county call it KLAK) long story short KLAKE was a good station Despite me being autistic i made friends there, i love them all like they were my own family, i cared and loved them very much and they cared and loved me the same. and i miss them so much very VERY Much.
so about a week ago i was feeling very depressed caused i missed them so much so i thought about it, and it finally HIT ME!! CHANGE KDSX Music programming To K-LAKE’s Old Format and i have found a stream on itunes and i been playing it since this past thursday i felt relieved right away, and hopefuly the sound will catch on!
so long for now Peace! Friends!

Memories….Turn The Page
That is a wonderful story. Nothing wrong with duplicating what once was and presenting it today. It is new again and radio most certainly needs a face lift..or ear lift.
Radio is incredibly dull and bloated with corporate controlled censored programming. The “one format fits all” approach is a massive failure and is the cause of demise of radio today.
Imagine what kind of dull and boring hobby ham radio would be if there was no person sitting behind the mic, and it all was done via automation or one size fits all voice source off a satellite syndication network.
Be pointless wouldn’t it.
Well broadcast radio falls into the same bottomless pit with all this central fed programming and very little local involvement. 4 hours of some morning jock spouting on a mic while the remaining 20 hours of the day is satellite shove down the throat programming is not real broadcast radio by any measure or definition.
And that is where us Part 15’ers come in. There is a choice to be made. But a choice cannot be made when there is nothing to choose from.
