Probably this post is not intended to be taken seriously.
The FCC has no trouble making quite accurate field strength measurements of unlicensed AM transmit systems whose operators claim they comply with Part 15.209, when in fact those measured fields are much above those limits.
The FCC also can make quite accurate measurements of Part 15 FM systems operating under §15.239 that exceed 250 µV/m at a distance of 3 meters from the transmit antenna.

The FCC Richard, my comment was both for “humor” but also for reality.
It is useless to know that the FCC can measure signals.
What matters to a very high degree of importance is that the part 15 operator is subjected to rules he cannot reasonably measure, with affordable or buildable field strength devices.

That is true.
But for those who wish to be FCC compliant, this FCC reality is (or perhaps should be) an incentive to be conservative when setting up, and operating an unlicensed system permitted by Part 15.
That takes a bit of research and understanding both of physics, and FCC Rules.

Very Godly Mr Rich,
There is no doubt you speak for the FCC.

Many Directions When the rules are set up to be interpreted in various ways and contradict themselves, its a bigger problem than just lack of being able to measure.
I don’t see Part 73 or 79 or any others with the array of interpretation as Part 15.
Correct the problem and there is a solution.
Anyway what does this have to do with the National Debt?

Longer Than Told It’s been a lot longer than what is being told, as well as much much more than what is owed.
Just remember, this country went bankrupt in the late 1920’s.

So do the real math. You will be quite shocked.
