I Do Not Believe Any program or group or individual who spouts about world population needing to be reduced should have their ignorance reduced. The world still has vast unpopulated and undeveloped areas. Plenty of room for more people and more resources.
I give those who think the population should be reduced this to ponder about. When all these elites convince you that you need to off yourself so the world can be saved, just remember that it is those elites who has, and will be continuing to produce far more carbon footprint in a year’s time than a group of 1000 can. All those jet set flying, fancy limos and yachts, mega mansion houses with 50 bathrooms (wow imagine all the methane produced in those!).
These numbnutz want you to believe that it is your fault that the world is warming up and it is your fault that the polar bears are dying off..when in fact they are surviving in droves, that it is your fault that the other planets in the solar system are warming up because of all the driving and breathing and consuming you do.
They want you to pay them a fee to exist.
Well perhaps people who buy/conned into all this junk should really think about how paying these already filthy rich elites a carbon footprint tax is going to solve an issue that is caused by that big bright object 93 million miles distant.
Round up them sheeple people…gotta keep them in the corral and confused. BAHHHHH. :/

Infinite growth on a finite planet Most programs, groups, and their constituent individuals that I know of who “spout” about excessive population and consumption are not elites who live in mansions, fly in private jets, or ride in limos. It is unfortunate that even bringing up the subject of population and the fact that we have an economy which requires infinite growth on a finite planet always tend to trickle down to lowest-common-denominator discussions about eugenics, “death panels”, euthanasia, etc.
Maybe there are some nuts out there who advocate for these things, and we can summarily dismiss them. However, no one can deny that an economic system which requires continuously increasing growth (and therefore ever-faster consumption of resources and deposition of wastes e.g. carbon dioxide) while providing diminishing returns to quality of life is a dead end. Maybe more will realize this as the quality, reliability, economy, density, safety, and/or convenience of energy resources diminishes.
The elites are elite (e.g. rich) because of the growth-based economy, and it is in their best “interest” (pun intended) to maintain this system. Some of them are doing this by convincing the public to throw away and buy new in the name of “efficiency” and “environmental protection”.
