I was admiring one of their MW active antennas, and got to thinking that an active antenna is one-way, that is, for reception.
I imagined hooking it up in reverse so the “active” part sent a signal to the antenna from a part 15 AM transmitter, which would make the active amplifier the final RF stage (15.219) and could not be greater that 100 mW input….. if the engineering were worked out I wonder how well such an antenna would do?
