fcc needs to back off the fcc needs to back off the excessive ground lead issue. there are just too many other fish to fry. high power over 1 watt (most running 100’s of watts) pirates on am and fm, high power cb’ers running kilowatts of power often reaching 20kW tpo pep into gain antenna’s and on illegal frequencies. they should leave the little neighborhood b,casters alone. lets face it 100mW input with even a full 1/4 wave over 120 1/4 wave on am (not practical) is not going to really go much anywhere even under best conditions. as far as co channel ground and skywave goes even the lowest power licensed am will swat 100mW like a fly. so interference is not an issue at least not RF, just maybe to their wallets and i don’t believe the communications act of 1936 had that in mind as being considered interference when it was written.
