Twice now I have had e-mails sent to known good addresses be rejected without understanding what went wrong. It just happened again when attempting to reach Rhema Radio via that website’s CONTACT page. Here is the rejection message (in part):
—– The following addresses had permanent fatal errors —–
(reason: 550 Host unknown)
—– Transcript of session follows —–
550 5.1.2
Last night I enjoyed the Rhema stream and admired the website, and was hoping to convey my reaction.

Looks like it’s not an email problem perse..
Someone on the website made a mistake on the email link.
It’s not rhemaradio.org, it’s rhemaradio.us
So send your email to [email protected] and it should go through.. Give him a heads up on the bad link while your at it !

Trouble Is
Rich Powers, I noticed the same thing…
On the Rhema website under Contact the address is given as rhemaradio.org
But I noticed the website was at the .us extension, so I re-sent the e-mail accordingly, and THAT sending was rejected, but in a different way.
After several hours I got a message that in a 4-hour period the e-mail was unable to reach its destination, but that it would be tried one more time after 5-hours. Then a note came back saying the final attempt failed.
Previously I had the 1st type error occur when trying to reach an Amiga Computor website. So I had a relative try it from a different location and there’s went through.
I’ll probably end up calling my ISP.

I still don’t think the problem is on your end, or your ISP.. I notice that Marshall’s member page here also shows the .org extension for his website.. He just needs to correct his contact email.
Looks like this is a question for President Marshall to address himself!

Thank You
Carl,
Many thanks for trying to use the email connector for the Rhemaradio web site. Come to find out the server has problems that are being ironed out. The email links on the site are not connected to anything productive for the moment. Once again, thank you for your patience.
