I looked at the fine print on the calendar and it said “Daylight Time Begins.”
Ya, but, I thought that came on Easter. So I had to unscramble my entire website so everything matched up.
Somebody told me the only reason for daylight time is so shoppers will have more daylight and spend more money.
Two years ago I resisted the change and stayed on standard time, but after about 2-months my confusion was too much and I surrendered.
If I’d only listened to the radio maybe I’d know something.
No Benefit Cept To Utilities
The only benefit of this time change is to the utility companies, who end up making more revenue each time the time changes.
Think about it. In the fall, we fall back 1 hour when the days are shorter, meaning the lights turn on earlier, as does the heaters…meaning they run longer, costing more.
When the time moves forward 1 hour, during the longer day seasons, it means A/C,s are on for longer time periods as well, again costing more.
Age old trick of the purpose hidden in false premise.
