Far better programs than the stations in my town.
Good work, Atrain.
Right Carl, so much better, and thanks Atrain for showing us what you're doing. I just hope that guy from Riverdale doesn't come by again, he's annoying.
I am so stoked to set up the transmitter and antenna hopefully by tomorrow or Saturday. This schedule is again, tentative. But it'll most likely be the one WHAR-AM goes with.
Of course, though, things can change especially since severe storm season begins in a week, so in the case of nasty storms rolling on through,, 1270 will be turned off.
Cool Cool! What transmitter are you going to be using?
My friend who is the engineer for 89.7 WGLS has an old talking house with outdoor transmitter box he is giving me (For free!)
Awesome! Can't beat that deal with a stick!
Even though you have a mostly Talk format, since you are one of the lucky ones that will have the ATU, I'd start searching for a newer model TH that can support +125% modulation for increased range and audio quality. The older TH models experience FM problems especially with heavy bass.
I know the iAM units do +125%, I'm not sure about the TH5.
