We have some affordably priced STLs with clear line of sight ranges of 15 miles or more. Many are using them for video/audio but they work for only audio too.

be careful using these. they use FM according to the spec's, not spread spectrum. you are therefore limited by field strength and not TPO and Antenna Gain.
