Without writing a bunch of goofy science fiction to
try to illustrate a point -

It looks like SIPA and PIPA went down the tubes, because
of a gigantic internet protest.

You guys probably know more about it than I do. But I
just thought I would mention it.

The politician who was running this deal is in some hot
water. (By the way, he's from my state - Connecticut.)

I guess you guys can read about all of that stuff.

I suppose this site is not really for politics or sci-fi
stories.

But the internet really helps our ability to do Part 15
radio in so many ways.

I'm glad things turned out the way they did.

For the time being those terrible bills have been withdrawn, but the serious commentators believe they will simply re-appear under different names.

Think about this, Bruce, and maybe you'll change your mind about this website in relation to politics and science fiction...

The rules we follow are a direct by-product of politics, and as long as the rules exist we are "subjects" of the political elite.

And science fiction? Part 15 radio is science fiction.

Carl is right. This is only a display of their "problem, reaction, solution" routine. We went through the first two, the "different name" of the solution is down the road.

I know you guys are right.

I was just not expecting things to go the
way they did.

I thought things would instantly go bad
last week and that would be it.

the original framers wrote copyright not to exceed 28 years (14+14) and not to exceed the authors death. there was nothing wrong with that original setup except in the 70's disneys mickey mouse copyright was preparing to run out and this was about the same time we were shifting from manufacturing and agriculture to service and ip based economy.
