i have a Sadelco Displaymax 800 cli signal level meter, i am looking to trade to a rangemaster am 1000 with pll module installed, and mounting brackets.
it does have a display issue that is either repairable or is a bad setting error (display driver IC? or setting?). display is very dim i can see it boot up but it is very very dim and barely readable so whatever it is is very likely reapairable.
these has a second hand street price of about $500.00 at most of the electronics retailers.
i figure it is worth at least a used hamilton rangemaster or chez procaster and accessories.
the other trade i would be looking for is a matched pair of working turntables w/ cartridge/needles and preamps.
this would make a great diagnostic tool when the screen issue is repaired.
it covers 5 - 872 MHz does all sorts of analog and digital measurements. it was primarily a digital / analog cable tv signal level meter but i am positive it could be repurposed for part 15 fm if you had a known part 15 fm legal limit calibration source.
