FWIW My station has been running on Megaseg since I went on the air 10 months ago. It has easily done everything I want it to do, from randomly mixing over 4,000 songs in the playlist to my specifications, to scheduling commercials, liners, promos to downloading mp3's from the internet and playing where I want it to. It's a pretty looking program and pretty straightforward. it works smoothly with itunes, or not if you so choose. I dump music into the computer with itunes and let Megaseg get it from there, but all the commercials, liners, etc I have it run from folders on the desktop as they change quite regularly. Ripping CD's or mp3 files from jump drives into iTunes is nearly automatic, then you just click and Megaseg updates with the newest additions.
When I want to change to the Christmas music format it takes me about 10 seconds and two clicks.
I have experienced NO failures, crashes, or any other issues. In fact since July 20, 2013 (when we signed on) IRC radio has had ZERO off the air time logged. The iMac, Procaster and back up power UPS unit have worked perfectly, even through several power outages -- most of a few minutes -- one of nearly 5 hours!
It's not a cheap program (I think it was $199 when I got it) but it works splendidly. I have no complaints.
