Howdy,

This has been some difficult research, seems like i'm not much further than when I started.

Howdy,

This has been some difficult research, seems like i'm not much further than when I started.

I need a tutorial to walk me thru the gear, software, and implementation to use NTP (NIST) for synchronizing signals. I keep running into dead ends, at least as far as how to use the data. E.g., if I were to get a GPS or query NTP servers periodically to update the sync, how do I extract the data? What exactly is the data? I could probably write software if I new what I was looking for.

Any ideas? TIA ...

First, here is an operator who is doing it, successfully.

Second, Keith Hamilton the creator of the Rangemaster has been syncing transmitters for year.

And finally, are you going to operate this network in the US or Canada?

Multi-transmitter operations in the US or Canada are different. Please refer to the above referenced link.
