has anyone onboard the forum successfully ran a Gentner sph3

phonepatch I have two I found on

ebay very reasonable and had

a question about why I cannot

get it to hang up on both units

as soon as I introduce the phone

line it's off to the races but

seem like no way to command it to

pick up and then hang up

I've never run one of these, but what are your plans with it? I can see where it might be neat to tinker with. As far as cost, time committment, and being useful, I would think simply using Skype or another calling device would be handier in a call-in situation. You can use a lot of internet, IP based stuff for about nothing. Even an international 'caller' could join you on the air for about nothing in cost.

Interfaced a corded tone phone receiver

and wired it into the mixing board and its purring like a kitten now..

I had my friends call the stations landline which will serve as an on the air phone line for locals.. Not into the streaming as much as the terrestrial radio station
i was having problems hanging up but after I added the mixing board with send and receive and adjusted the null and feed waa laaa off to the races the phone patch will be fun to take live callers.
