Prerecorded episodes of Free Thinker Radio are carried on WCFI-LP 96.1.
Last weekend I did an experiment using TeamSpeak as a Studio-To-Transmitter link to put Free Thinker Radio on the air live from the WHAR studio in New Jersey. Success, with some minor problems.
We're going to do it again. There will be a live broadcast this evening if everything goes well. The show starts at 11pm Eastern Time. WCFI programming is streamed so if you'd like to tune in goto:
Free Thinker Radio is a mix of Classic Rock and more. WCFI-LP is a Community Station in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
I just checked out the link to WCFI using the Flash Player and it sounds very good.

Things weren't so good earlier. I tuned in at 10:53 PM EDT and heard the indy music while I was trying to untangle my own streaming station from everything that was going on and things got too complicated just as a thunderstorm arrived, causing me to shut down and disconnect for safety.
Now, without my station in the mix, I am hearing pure WCFI and it sounds splendid.
Storms will be coming and going all night so I'm seeking shelter.

The great cultural exchange between WCFI and Free Thinker Radio was still in my thoughts this drippy morning after a night of rain, and I was amazed all over again that the high transmission quality was achieved using Teamspeak!
It makes us other stations want to do something like it.
