Editing...Let's Try This

The problems that can happen with unrestricted editing have been outlined ( http://www.part15.us/node/4606 ).

So, for now we'll try enabling the edit function but please keep the following in mind:

1. If you remove content from your post then replies may seem off topic and out of context so try not to do this.

2. Adding content can also cause this problem so if you have major content to add then perhaps a new posting in a thread is the best approach. Keep in mind that older posts in a thread are not always read.

3. Deleting content for the purpose of removing a post is not acceptable unless a post is a duplicate posting.

Use your good judgment when editing.
