New Toy

Got this yesterday.  I was told it's a Western Electric 25B, but if it is it's some sort of cut down version.  Either way, it's a really, really heavy stereo board.

As to what I'm going to do with it, it's actually gutted.   So I'm going to use this as the control interface (and case) for my present studio workstation, replacing the dual touchscreen interface I'm using now.   Other than touching up the paint and the molding, I plan on making no permanent modifications to it, so it could be returned to tube service at some point in the future.

The Western Electric 25B was the board I worked when first hired by an FM station and this cut-down version is every bit as beautiful.

WaxyMouthfeel, you have a treasure and I am quite proud for you.

I'm this close to believing in a supreme being.
