Haven't heard of the Center on Democratic Communications before, but the National Lawyers Guild has been around for many years. I think they would be proud to be called a "liberal" organization.

Dunno. The liberal / conservative thing doesn't quite seem to apply in either intellectual property or radio regulation law. People support things you wouldn't expect and vice versa.
I would say liberal would be a good thing for the most part liberals believ that the government has to much control and firmly believe if freedom of speech, press etc..
I run a lot of liberal stuff on my station primarally to give them a voice bacuase the local commercial stations are Rush Limba boot lickers and the media here is really swung twards the right.. Im just trying to even the airwaves out with some liberal and democratic content..
I would say, yes liberals would want to lesses restrictions on LP AM / FM
