Anyone have extra 1610 Khz Xtals?

Just got an idea that if anyone has any extra 1610 KHz Crystals they could mabye sell. I am very interested in buying one or two. I am designing a Part 15 transmitter and dont have a crystal at this time.

Thanks KB1LQC

The ever-changing world of technology inevitably results in obsolescence of some once prevalent items. A 1610 kHz crystal can be had from some obscure source, if you are lucky enough to find it. Or, maybe you can order a hundred or so specially made from some manufacturer. Today's reality is that 1610 from a crystal is had by PLL or direct frequency synthesis.

I know this doesn't answer your specific question. Just a comment.

Some circuits use a divider chip to get down to the AM BCB. Panaxis used this apporach on the old AM 100:

Might be worth a try, both because of xtal availability and improved osc accuracy. I have scans of the entire assemply manual if you'd like.
