Kinds shows that a home radio can be as good or better than a car.
Radio Jay Allen always has rated the RF 2200 as the very best for AM reception, so comparing car radios to it is really an unfair comparison, but it seems the Panasonic car receiver was a real loser altogether.
I allowed a couple of my buddies to hang out on my boat one afternoon while I was at work right after I bought it a couple of years ago. My RF 2200 was on the boat and they apparently had took it on deck to play.. they came back and told me they was sorry but my radio fell in the river.. that broke my heart.. I had bought it on ebay a year or two prior and really loved that radio.
@richpowers Sorry to hear about the RF 2200 in the water. I will get one if I can find one in perfect shape. Sometimes Etsy is a good place to look.
