Party High

Poor guy.

They left him up there draped in party paper.

What kind of tower would be way out in the wilderness with no trace of civilization?

Must be part 15.

Why he is perceived as the enemy of the internet, I do give him credit for routinely visiting Mon & Pop AM stations. I wonder how many FCC commissioners have ever climbed a cell tower?

Neat Idea

Imagine a well constructed 3-meter steel part 15 tower with an observation platform on top. Maybe Mr. Pai would be friendly enough to stand on our tower.

The "Why" Question

There we see the Chairman of the FCC having lofted his trademark smile all the way up to the tip-top of a communications tower.

What we have yet to ask is WHY?

That's right. With all of the responsibility of running a major federal commission charged with the massive responsibility of overseeing a burgeoning electro-magnetic spectrum, there he is in the middle of a workday fiddling as if vacationing at a theme park.

What I think is that he was being lobbied by the billion-dollar cellphone industry, treated as guest of honor at an extended lunch with wet bar, challenged after a few drinks to visit one of the towers that soon will be installed on every block when 5G comes to the neighborhood.

Why do you think?
