This perhaps is a solution to keeping AM in Tesla automobiles..
Ultra-thin nanowire films block over 99% of wireless signals without metal

We live inside a storm of invisible signals. Phones, Wi-Fi routers, 5G networks, smartwatches, and medical sensors constantly send and receive electromagnetic waves. ... it also creates a serious side effect, electromagnetic interference (EMI). .. Until now, blocking this interference has required thick metal layers that are rigid, heavy, and opaque.
However, a team of researchers has now shown a unique solution in the form of an ultra-thin, flexible, see-through film that can block almost all unwanted electromagnetic radiation while remaining light, transparent, and scalable for real-world use.
“This is the first time anyone has overcome the longstanding trade-off between electrical conductivity and optical transparency in metallic nanowire networks. .... The biggest challenge in this field has always been a stubborn trade-off. Materials that conduct electricity well usually block light, while transparent materials tend to conduct poorly. ...

No, I don't think so. I don't know what this has to do with AM in Tesla's. Tesla hasn't been ever telling the real reason that AM and now FM is out of their cars. They lie to you. This technology will not change it.
Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, etc all have AM in their electric cars and I have been told that no plans are for removing it in the foreseeable future. I was shown at a Kia dealer that it works fine in electric cars with a demo and I have posted about this recently with a demo done in a Tesla with a portable. This see through film may have it's uses but it has nothing to do with AM and Tesla's.

It blocks electronic radiation - such as Tesla says they couldn't come up with an effective way to do so to shield the electrical cars interference from the AM radio.
All I'm suggesting is that.
