are reuniting and touring in 2026.

Or maybe I should say the two best known and leading members are, Randy Bachman (guitar) and Burton Cummings (vocals).

Sometimes I wonder why these older acts bother.  The entire original band won't be there, and Bachman is in his 80s, while Cummings is the baby in his late 70s.

Perhaps not on target, but an old SNL skit comes to mind - real old, the original Saturday Night Live. It featured an "Appearing Live" Elvis Presley's Coat... So now it's "Appearing Live" The Name of a Band.

@Artisan
I don't know why either, not just the Guess Who but other acts too. Did you see a sample of the Who's latest tour? Did you see and hear Roger Daltrey? Sad to say the least. You are not even seeing the real band. And half was done to backing tracks. What about AC/DC? Did you see that from last year? Sad also. Brian Johnson can't hit the notes to the songs. And Angus is nothing like his former self. And also, not the same band anymore. What about the Stones? A 2026 tour! A new album? And Mick can't hit a lot of the notes either so he can't sing the songs as they go. And the new album won't get radio play even if they are the Stones.
I don't understand why they don't know it's time to pack it in. Neil Young, another one going on tour. In his eighties. And Rush! With a new girl drummer...Anika, I think her name is.
How old are they? And Motley Crue also...same thing. And on and on it goes. A farewell tour should be that. Go out in a blaze of glory as if you continue on and on you just tarnish what you once were.
I mean, time to pack it in, you made your mark in musical history. The generations that grew up with you will have your music forever but you have to see yourself and know when it's time to quit. Even the Beach Boys, my favorite band of all time but seeing Mike Love with his band and Brian Wilson with his band each a version of the Beach Boys and Mike love in his eighties sounding horrible makes me just want to remember what used to be. And not see "cover bands" with one original member. Not the same.

It is like watching Mohammad Ali fighting Larry Holmes in 1980. Sad to watch. Same idea.
Or even Leon Spinks...should have never happened. He went out in a blaze of glory beating George Forman, ten years younger than him, and considered invincible, in one of the best fights ever, should have ended there.

The Stones have been around for 62 years! I was listening to them when I was 16. Who would have thought they would still be around when I am in my later 70s!! Mind boggling.
The Guess Who have been around for almost as long, well on and off. And I really wouldn't want to see them as it would not at all be what I knew from the past. Not only not even the same band but do you think Burton Cummings will have the smooth great voice he did before? It will be sad to see I think. But Rush and them together, along with April Wine with one or two original members, and Neil Young...well 4 times sad to see. It's best to remember the way it was in their heyday. Just my opinion.

Oh yeah, Lead Zeppelin will reunite and with Jason Bonham on drums will tour next year!!
😏
