@ Artisan Radio re: OTR
The CBS Radio Mystery Theater was about 41-46 minutes with a little more time to develop the plot but not good for scheduling with Salamandra and the audio on the majority of them is not good...just being recorded from someones radio a lot of them with muffled audio and background interference. Also some are left with original commercials and a news break and that further makes the time scheduling even worse, running from 48 to 57 minutes. I wouldn't be able to just download a large playlist and have to weed out the good and the bad. And with 100s of episodes a big undertaking. And editing the unwanted stuff out...you get the picture. But there have been some very good episodes I miss hearing and I may reconsider and try to get a playlist of ones with good audio and maybe fit them in in a separate time slot. But nothing wrong with the originals and the half hour time slot especially when they are running back to back at night and very easy to schedule when they are all the same running time. And all are good quality so can just download a whole playlist of hundreds. Some of the best TV shows from the 60s and 70s were half hour shows.
If you check a post of mine here about some Quiet Please restorations that a guy has done and put on youtube, you'll find that he has also been restoring numerous other OTR programs too. You might want to check his channel because I bet he's worked on the CBS Radio Mystery Theater shows also.
