Back in 1981 was hitch hiking from Tennessee back to Tybee. It was night and the rain was pouring hard, it was late, hardly any cars on the road, and I had been walking for hours. I was tired, cold, depressed and miserable. Finally I saw up ahead lights of a little roadside diner and looked forward to getting out of the rain for awhile.
When I finally got there the girl said l they had just closed. I asked can you please fill my thermos and let me sit for awhile to warm up. She said her boss was coming down and that he would be mad to find me there, but she agreed to fill my thermos with cofee to take with me and she didn't even charge me.
I left and hit the road again. I began singing to myself aloud a song that I was making up along the way. I kept singing the song over and over again until I had the verses memorized.
Jump to the present. Last night I was thinking about this and decided to let AI put music to the verses with vocals.. and heres the results, two versions, cant decide which I like better. There both good, and I think worthy of a listen.
The first part of the song was about what I just told you about, and the second part was about my job on Tybee. I never finished it and AI did not add or alter the verses in any way (except that it reprised an earlier verse towards the end).
Theres some aspects of one version that's not in the other, and Visa-verse, and I cant decide which I like best as a whole. What do you think?

Right now I'm leaning to the second version, it seems to have more gut, but I keep changing my mind everytime I listen l, because theres aspects about the first one I like better.
